End of an Era: B-Side at The Collective Closing Party
B-Side at the Collective will be closing down and they will have one last party to go out with a bang.
Why is B-Side at The Collective Closing Down?
Scoutmag PH first reported that there was going to be a condominium to be built instead. However, the online magazine site has since updated their info that there is no confirmation about a condominium going up in the lot.
B-Side has confirmed that they will be ceasing operations at the end of September 2018. Sadly, there has been no official statement yet as to why they will be closing down. Other businesses at The Collective have not made any announcements if they will be closing up shop as well. That could be good news.
UPDATE: Mynila reported that B-Side at the Collective owner Anna Sobrepena Ong confirmed the business’s end with a statement:
(B-SIDE is closing down) mainly because the neighborhood has become more residential and so we need to respect change and the residents around us. Also we believe that in order to create something new we need to let go of what we have now.
